THE HAUNTED, BELPHEGOR Officially Confirmed For BLACKEST OF THE BLACK Tour
September 28, 2006THE HAUNTED and BELPHEGOR have been officially confirmed for Glenn Danzig's Blackest of the Black Tour, which is being revived this winter for a two-week West Coast run. Also scheduled to appear are DANZIG, LACUNA COIL and one more, as-yet-announced act. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.
THE HAUNTED's new album, "The Dead Eye", is scheduled for release on October 31 via Century Media Records. The effort will be released in three different formats: standard jewel case CD, limited-edition CD with a bonus DVD, and an LP version. The limited-edition version of "The Dead Eye" will include a special O-Card packaging, two audio bonus tracks as well as a bonus DVD with a 'making of" documentary, video clips and two live recordings. The Swedish thrashers' highly anticipated new effort was recorded in Denmark at PUK studios (drums) and Antfarm Studios with renowned producer Tue Madsen (SICK OF IT ALL, HIMSA, HEAVEN SHALL BURN).
BELPHEGOR will release its new album, "Pestapokalypse VI", on October 31 via Nuclear Blast Records. The Austrian extreme black/death metal outfit has also scheduled a North American tour with UNLEASHED, KRISIUN and HATESPHERE beginning in February.
